As the famous saying goes, “Can you hear me now?” Interested in joining an awesome team of audio enthusiasts? Get involved with the audio ministry here at Christ Lutheran Church. We will train you! In a short period of time, you will be working the soundboard.

Bell Choirs
Soli Deo Bell Choir
This group enjoys working together on challenging music without neglecting fellowship and laughter.
Chancel Ringers
Middle schoolers through adults that can read music, are welcome to join this bell group. This group plays at least once a month in worship.

Chancel Choir
If you love to sing and have a heart for worship, the choir is the place for you. This dedicated group of singers meets weekly on Thursday evenings for rehearsal and usually performs at the 11:00 a.m. worship service.

Children’s Choir
Does your child keep belting out “Baby Shark”? Sign them up for the Children’s Choir and get a new song stuck in your head. The children’s choir is open to all young singers Pre-k through 6th grade. This group meets on Wednesday evening for three different sessions, and each session is 4 to 6 weeks long.

Communion Assistant
A communion assistant provides a warm and friendly and inclusive welcome to all who come to the Lord’s Table. The assistant helps distribute the bread or the wind during the worship service.

Contemporary Worship Set-up
Ever wonder what goes on behind the scenes of contemporary worship? Set-up includes putting the communion table and elements in place, checking to make sure the correct bulletins are out, and serving communion and finding communion assistants for the service.

Start someone else’s day off right by being a cheerful greeter at the front or ramp door. Greeters arrive about 20 minutes before the traditional worship.

Are you interested in exploring using your musical gifts to serve the congregation? Please contact Chad Baker to explore the opportunities.

Do you enjoy speaking in front of others? Missed your calling in the theatre? Join the lector group to read 1 or 2 of the appointed lessons for the day in traditional worship.

Needlepoint Stitchers
Do you like to cross stitch or needlepoint? Then this group may be for you. This group needlepoints liturgical art for the church.

Praise Team
The Praise Team is a creative, passionate team of people who lead music for the 9:15 a.m. Sunday service. They love music and use it to encourage and point people to Jesus. They rehearse Sunday mornings at 8:00 a.m.

The ministry of church ushers plays a vital role in the hospitality and welcome ministry of the church. Together with church greeters and hospitality hosts, church ushers help the church member & visitor experience a wonderful worship service. Usher duties include arriving a half-hour before the service they are serving, greet people and distribute bulletins, collect offering, assist with communion, watch for the safety of the congregation, act as the line of first response to medical emergencies and count offering.
