Devotion

Current Events

Join Us for Our Jazz Worship
Sunday, September 12 at 11:15 a.m., we will come together for our 13th Annual Jazz Service. Al Berry and his musicians have prepared a special program, featuring  theJazz Service music of Duke Ellington and Horace Silver, as well as some of our regular favorites. Plus, the vocal stylings of Eva Cassidy and Aretha Franklin.

The 8:00 a.m. Traditional and 9:15 a.m. Contemporary services will follow their regular schedule with Sunday School “Livin’ Forgiven” kicking off at 10:10 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

High School Retreat: All high school youth are invited for a relaxing weekend at Lakeside Saturday, September 4 - Monday, September 6. Activities include: worship, playing and relaxing together as well as planning for the year. Cost is $50 per person. Please RSVP to Jenny Frantz at jfrantz@christbexley.org or 235-2314 ext. 14

Knitwits:  This knitting group will meet Tuesday, September 7 at 6:30 p.m. in the Lounge for an evening of devotions, knitting, fellowship, and a light dessert.  all ages and experience levels are welcome.

Wednesday, September 8th - Community Meal & Worship:  All are invited to a meal in the Lounge at 5:45 p.m. followed by age appropriate small group Bible studies at 6:15 p.m.. Community worship will begin in the Sanctuary at 7:00 p.m. Invite your family, neighbors, and friends for these fellowship and worship opportunities!

Jazz Picnic Helpers Needed: Join us after the musical celebration for an indoor picnic!  We will be serving meat and veggie subs, salad, dessert and beverage.  Five helpers will be needed to clean up the fellowship hall after picnic.  If you would be interested in providing large bags of salad or a dozen cookies that would be wonderful. Simply stop by the beverage table and sign up or call Monica Getz.
